With nearly five decades of history, we have built a proud legacy of nurturing talent, fostering friendships, and contributing to the local music scene. Based at Toa Payoh Central Community Club, we meet every Saturday to explore the dynamic world of guitar ensemble performance. From large group ensembles to smaller setups like solos, duets, trios and quartets, our focus is on creating harmony and connection through music. While we treasure classical works, our repertoire also ventures into popular pieces, musical themes, and more, offering a diverse and enriching experience.
Over the years, TPGC has been both a nurturing ground for talent and a hub of inspiration. We are proud to share that celebrated homegrown classical guitarist Kevin Loh grew up within our club, honing his craft as part of our community. Today, he represents Singapore on the world stage with his exceptional musicianship. Additionally, TPGC has been fortunate to be guided and mentored by many notable musicians and guitarists, further enriching our members’ musical journeys.
